About Company

Bu-mac Engineering Ltd is a precision manufacturing workshop providing high-quality machining and fabrication services. Since 1995, we have proudly served clients across New Zealand and internationally.

Based in West Auckland, our workshop is equipped with a comprehensive range of CNC and manual machinery, enabling us to deliver end-to-end manufacturing solutions. We specialise in one-off to medium-run component production, with a strong emphasis on quality, reliability, and customer service.

Our team of 13 skilled technicians is dedicated to the ongoing growth and success of the company. In addition to our core machining and fabrication capabilities, we also operate an in-house spray painting facility, ensuring a seamless and efficient production process.

Fabrication
We specialise in high-quality fabrication with extensive experience working with stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium. Our team is skilled in delivering precise, durable, and custom-fabricated components to meet a wide range of industry requirements.

Machining
Our fully equipped machine shop combines advanced CNC technology with traditional manual machining, allowing us to handle a diverse array of projects with precision and efficiency. Our capabilities include:

• 2 bar-feed CNC lathes – handling diameters up to 65 mm

• 7 centre lathes – accommodating workpieces up to 3 metres between centres

• 4 CNC machining centres – ranging from high-speed production units to large-capacity machines with X-axis travel up to 1600 mm and a job weight capacity of up to 2000 kg

• 5 manual milling machines – for versatile, low-volume, or specialised milling tasks

• 2 surface grinders – delivering fine surface finishes and tight tolerances
